Pion's built-in packet sniffer is built for the most demanding environments and easily collects meaningful information from gigabits of raw network traffic every second. HTTP & SMTP protocols are handled out-of-the-box, and support for additional protocols can be added through plugins. For secure sites, Pion also features support for SSL decryption. Just enter your SSL key(s) into Pion's secure key vault and it automatically decrypts your traffic on-the-fly.

Cut Your Logs Down to Size in Real Time

Pion makes it easy to cut through your log data, get to the important bits and shape them into the useful information you need in real time. Pion understands all of the normal log formats associated with web server logs such as Extended Log Format, Combined Log Format, and Common Log Format out-of-the-box, along with numerous other log formats. If Pion doesn’t already contain a Codec for the log format you need, you can easily create a new Codec that describes the log format.
